TECHNAL launches the new SOLEAL Sliding Door

A high-performance aluminium sliding system delivering expansive views, design flexibility and enhanced thermal performance

We're pleased to introduce the SOLEAL Sliding Door, the latest addition to the TECHNAL range, combining contemporary design, impressive dimensions and low-carbon aluminium in one high-performance sliding solution.

Developed for residential and commercial applications, the SOLEAL Sliding Door has been engineered to meet the demands of modern architecture, enabling larger glazed openings, maximised natural daylight and seamless connections between indoor and outdoor spaces. Made with Hydro CIRCAL® aluminium, it also supports the construction sector's growing focus on reducing embodied carbon.

Designed for bigger, brighter spaces

As architectural trends continue to favour expansive glazing and uninterrupted views, the SOLEAL Sliding Door offers the flexibility to bring ambitious designs to life.

The system accommodates sliding panels up to 4.3m wide by 2.6m high and glass weights of up to 200kg per leaf, creating opportunities for generous floor-to-ceiling glazing across a wide range of project types.

Carefully designed profile dimensions maintain a clean and refined appearance, with visible sightlines of just 88mm on the frame and 33mm at the central interlock, helping to maximise design and visual continuity.

Performance engineered for modern buildings

Alongside its contemporary aesthetic, the SOLEAL Sliding Door delivers the levels of performance expected from a TECHNAL system.

Achieving Uw values as low as 1.4W/m²K, alongside air permeability performance of up to Class 4, the system supports energy-efficient building design and occupant comfort. Accessible threshold options and integrated multi-point locking solutions provide added functionality, security and ease of use.

Supporting lower-carbon construction

Sustainability is at the heart of the SOLEAL Sliding Door.

Manufactured using Hydro CIRCAL® aluminium, which contains a minimum of 75% recycled end-of-life aluminium, the system helps to reduce embodied carbon while supporting circular construction principles. With a carbon footprint of just 1.9kg CO2e per kg of aluminium, Hydro CIRCAL® offers approximately 80% reduction in CO² emissions compared with the European average for primary aluminium production.

TECHNAL solutions are also designed to be 95% recyclable at the end of their service life, providing architects and specifiers with a responsible material and product choice without compromising performance or durability.

The introduction of the SOLEAL Sliding Door further enhances the TECHNAL sliding door and wider product offer, providing architects, specifiers and fabricators a coordinated suite of aluminium solutions that combine design freedom, performance and sustainability.

The SOLEAL Sliding Door has been developed to meet growing demand for systems that combine contemporary aesthetics, strong performance and proven sustainability credentials.
