How TECHNAL supports Fabricators

  • Fabricators choose TECHNAL because our systems are built for ease of fabrication, consistent quality and high performance. Profiles are engineered for precision and supported by extensive technical documentation, enabling fast, reliable processing in the workshop.

    TECHNAL systems are made with Hydro CIRCAL® 75R, containing at least 75% recycled post-consumer content and offering one of the lowest CO2 footprints (1.9 kg CO2 / kg of aluminium).

  • TECHNAL’s sustainability approach directly supports fabricators through products that are 75% recycled and 95% recyclable, with Cradle to Cradle certifications across some systems. Hydro CIRCAL® 75R is available as standard in the UK and reduces embodied carbon by 80% compared to the European average for primary aluminium, while maintaining prime-quality performance. This helps fabricators meet client demands for circular, low-carbon construction without adding complexity to fabrication workflows.

  • Fabricators benefit from dedicated CNC and tooling guidance that improves workflow accuracy and reduces downtime. TECHNAL building systems use high-grade components such as EN 12844-compliant fittings, EPDM / TPE gaskets and stainless steel screws, ensuring consistent machining and assembly outcomes. This engineering quality helps fabricators achieve repearable precision across all builds.

  • Fabricators have 24/7 access to fabrication manuals, product guides, tooling instructions, CAD details and performance documentation through the TechTip portal. This includes EPDs for environmental impact reports, sustainability and quality certifications and system-specific installation and fabrication instructions across windows, doors, facades and sliders.

  • All major systems - SOLEAL Next windows and doors, TENTAL facades, TITANE Next commercial doors, TIGAL sliding doors and AMBIAL folding doors - are designed with consistent profiles, clear machining logic and predictable tolerances. System options include concealed hardware with modular components and design flexibility, enabling smoother workshop setup and faster fabrication cycles.

  • TECHNAL building systems deliver verified performance data across thermal efficiency, airtightness, acoustics and weather resistance, helping fabricators meet demanding project specifications. Examples include:

    • AMBIAL Folding Door: up to 43dB acoustic performance, 750 Pa water tightness and endurance tested to 50,000 cycles
    • TIGAL Sliding Door: exceptional water tightness (1200 Pa), thermal performance down to 0.85 W/m²K (Uw) with triple glazing, Wind Class C5 and RC2 / PAS 24 certified
    • SOLEAL Next windows: burglary resistance to RC2 / PAS 24 and high thermal and acoustic ratings.

    These validated performance metrics give fabricators confidence that installed systems meet or exceed regulatory and client requirements.

  • Through Hydro’s closed-loop circularity process, TECHNAL ensdures that post-consumer aluminium stays within the construction industry. On a circular project, we work with you to ensure that there is minimal disruption to on-site workflow.

    Fabricators and / or contractors dismantle and sort old frames, which are then sorted, remelted and extruded into new Hydro CIRCAL® billets - verified by third-party EPDs. This unique in-house recycling model gives fabricators a market advantage and ensures traceable, certified sustainability credentials for clients.

  • TECHNAL offers hands-on fabrication training, system overviews, software use, safety and compliance courses and project-specific technical workshops. Training ensures fabricators stay aligned with evolving regulations, fabrication best practice and system innovations - reinforcing long-term capability and confidence.

  • TECHNAL systems use robust materials—including corrosion‑resistant hardware, structural components tested to high endurance levels, and patented sealing technologies—to reduce long‑term maintenance issues. Features such as concealed drainage, anti‑derailment tracks, and secure multi‑point locking decrease installation errors and ensure reliable, repeatable performance on projects. Examples include AMBIAL’s anti‑derailment system and TITANE Next’s 500,000‑cycle endurance for heavy‑traffic doors.

  • New partners receive full onboarding support, including system selection guidance, tooling setup, digital access to documentation, and access to training sessions. TECHNAL provides the resources and technical support required for fabricators to begin quoting, fabricating and installing quickly, ensuring a smooth transition into the product range.
