In Meetjesland, a part of the Flemish region of Belgium, expansive meadows and sweeping views remain, a sight that is uncommon in the area. Naturally, anyone building their home here capitalises on this distinct landscape. The homeowner envisioned a sanctuary for relaxation and a space to host guests,

The design's core concept was to weave in ample transparency, light and openness into the space. Once inside, your attention is drawn to the outdoors, guided with a clear view of the back garden and the fields beyond. Yet, a delightful surprise awaits on the side - a hidden courtyard garden with a pool, designed to maximise sunlight. Most importantly, it stands as a delightful, social centrepiece.

Our engineers are very adept at creating beautiful residential projects

The term "glass house" aptly describes the design, largely due to its vast glass expanses. With the stunning residential design created with TECHNAL window and doors systems, the clients wishes have been brought to life. By supplying high-quality, high-performance and durable products through our UK-based fabricators, outstanding and sustainable homes are created across the world.

A signature of the architect is often large areas of glazing and large windows that cover the full height of the facade, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors. This can present a challenge in some cases, especially when, as with this project, glass on glass corners are required to get the desired aesthetic. TECHNAL windows and sliding doors have been used here - with their sleek, flat profiles very precise and delicate work can be achieved. The choice was made to integrate them into the floor, to achieve the flat, minimalist look that draw the eye through the home to the outside.

Many of the high-quality new build projects that we carry out today use these products because they’re extremely durable and produce a beautiful result. We actually produce the windows and doors we install ourselves, and we attach great importance to this, because everything depends on it. We’re also inspected regularly, and rightly so. It benefits the customer and the quality of projects.
