France Pavilion, Expo 2020 Dubai
Designed to Capture Light
At Expo 2020 Dubai, the France Pavilion Expo 2020 explored a simple yet powerful idea: light as a source of innovation, creativity, and progress.
The building was conceived as a luminous architectural composition where glass and aluminium surfaces interact with sunlight throughout the day. As the sun moves across the sky, the façade reflects, diffuses, and transforms light, turning the pavilion itself into a dynamic architectural installation.
TECHNAL aluminium systems support this architectural vision by enabling refined lines and transparent surfaces that enhance the play of light across the building envelope.
The result is a pavilion where architecture becomes an experience, demonstrating how design, technology, and light can come together to create a memorable space within the global stage of Expo 2020.
