The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance headquarters in Manama is defined by a bold architectural gesture: a large rectangular opening carved through the building’s volume. This dramatic void frames views of the surrounding city while giving the structure a distinctive and recognizable silhouette.

The building’s monolithic form is articulated through horizontal glazing bands and clean structural lines, creating a composition that balances solidity and transparency. The recessed central opening introduces depth and visual rhythm to the façade while allowing daylight to reach the internal spaces.
