Sustainability starts at the spec sheet

Aluminium that performs beyond aesthetics
Designing for tomorrow means knowing what's behind the material. At TECHNAL, we create aluminium systems with industry-leading carbon transparency, certified traceability, and circular thinking built in. From curtain walling to sliding doors, every product supports your sustainability targets - without compromising performance or beauty.
Low carbon aluminium, proven by numbers
Hydro CIRCAL® is more than just aluminium. It's a statement of intent - towards net zero, circular construction, and fully traceable supply chains.
At the core of this innovation are two alloys:
Hydro CIRCAL® 75R This premium grade aluminium contains a minimum of 75% recycled post-consumer scrap - meaning aluminium that has already completed its life in buildings. It's not production waste. It's true circularity.
Carbon footprint: 1.9kg CO²e/kg aluminium
Fully certified by DNV-GL for content and emissions
Ideal for BREEAM, LEED and WELL certification targets
Hydro CIRCAL® 75R gives you a high-quality, durable solution at a fraction of the environmental cost. When compared with the European average for primary aluminium production, the carbon footprint is around 85% lower. It's already available as standard across all the TECHNAL UK product range.
Hydro CIRCAL® 100R The next step forward.
Hydro CIRCAL® 100R is made with 100% recycled post-consumer aluminium, offering the lowest embodied carbon available in the market for aluminium profiles.
Carbon footprint: 0.5kg CO²e/kg aluminium
Only available for selected projects where ultra-low carbon impact is a non-negotiable
Designed for projects that are pushing the boundaries of sustainable design
Hydro CIRCAL® 100R is currently in the early adoption phase, making it a powerful specification choice for zero-carbon projects.
Both Hydro CIRCAL® alloys support transparent carbon reporting, and can be used to contribute to embodied carbon assessments, life cycle analysis, and circularity targets on major frameworks.
