Construction methods
- Mullions and transoms are reinforced with aluminum or steel profiles, prefilled with a patented cooling material developed by Hydro
- Transoms are notched and overlap onto the mullions
- T-connections use combinations of screws, rear anti-rotation spigots, and integral T-blocks.
- Heavy-load pins enhance T-connections for heavy infill loads.
- Cascading mullion drainage
- Thermal breaks applied with intumescent strips that expand when exposed to heat.
- Stainless steel glass retention clips are used beneath each pressure plate fixing screw.
