Introduction to Eurocodes

TECHNAL UK is internally using an in-house spreadsheet to carry out initial wind load assessments and profile static requirements. A training is proposed to customers who wish to have access to this spreadsheet for their own pre-design.
This training will cover:

• Introduction to Eurocodes linked with wind load assessments
• Determination of the profile static requirements in multiple configurations:
  • Single and multi-span mullions under wind load
  • Transoms under wind load and dead loads
  • Transom with stud mullion
  • Forces in curtain wall transom connectors
  • Selection of profiles with or without reinforcements

This training will take place over 1/2 day and be held at our offices in Tewkesbury, Wakefield and London.
