BIM, our Libraries

Technal and the BIM

BIM OBJECT TECHNAL

WHAT IS BIM?

BIM is the acronym of "Building Information Model". The BIM is a structured set of information on a building, existing or in project. It contains the objects making up the building, their characteristics and the relationships between these objects.

Thus, the detailed composition of a wall, the location of a piece of equipment or furniture in a room, are part of the BIM. This information completes the purely geometric description of the shape of the building produced by some software.

Important:

The online availability of BIM objects, on our partner sites, is a tool to assist in the visualization of our products which cannot replace the technical study of the project taking into account all technical and normative data. TECHNAL cannot be held responsible for any misuse of the products thus put on line. For any study, please contact us.
