HBS Argentina
working with professionals
Hydro Building Systems Argentina intends to provide companies with the means to carry out their activity and wishes to provide architects with creative solutions adapted to sustainable development requirements. HBS Argentina regularly organises training and presentation meetings. Two meetings have recently been held in Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata, in the south-east of Argentina.

Argentina
The first meeting [Photo above] was attended by around thirty Technal customers from Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mar del Plata, and also from neighbouring Uruguay. The purpose of the meeting was to train manufacturers in Technal products and also to enhance their knowledge of their own company and identify their capacities to meet market demands. Francis Doutre, Development Manager of HBS International, presented the Technal offer in detail, focusing in particular on the GEODE facade and all of its applications, the Suneal brise-soleil, the brand's casement and sliding system ranges, TOPAZE doors, the OPALE partition and the SOLEAL thermal break offer.

Argentina
Aimed at purchasing advisers, the second meeting [Photo above] was held in Mar del Plata. Around twenty architects and investors listened carefully to what Hélène Roux, President of HBS International, had to say. She presented the Hydro group and actions undertaken by the group in terms of sustainable development and environmental management. Francis Doutre presented the Technal offer and HBS Argentina's aim to provide designers with creative architectural solutions, to work closely with them through all stages of their projects, and to provide building contractors with safe and approved systems, ensuring a high level of quality in order to improve daily comfort for the end user.

Technal films in Cape Town

The new Technal advert adds a touch of solar control to the usual brand focus on optimising light, placing strong emphasis on the NOTEAL shutter.

Directed by Andréas Grassl, creator of more than 350 advertising films, the film depicts an elegant lady and moves fluidly from shade to light, inviting the viewer to identify with and imagine themselves in a refined, comfortable and feel-good setting that opens out to the exterior.

The film was shot in Cape Town, in South Africa, in a villa whose joinery was manufactured by JBC Aluminium. The company also constructed 10m of NOTEAL shutters specifically for the film. Cape Town was chosen due to the on-location availability of many specialists, operators, cameramen, studio managers, models and also for the quality and amount of daylight that allowed the film to be shot in a single day.

The final shooting was preceded by 3 weeks of pre-production work assured by a team of nearly 50 people.

Garbis Dantziguian, manager of the company Dantziguian, found this training extremely useful and effective and congratulated the availability of Mr. Covaser. " We are Technal's oldest customers and the company Dantziguian, established in 1924, was the first company to work with aluminium in 1952. At that time, we imported sections from Germany. I joined the company in 1965 and I have worked with Technal since then. I highly recommend Technal's products and all of its services such as this Tech- Design software."
