Architectural aluminium façade specialist, Technal, has been announced as a corporate partner of the Guggenheim Museum Foundation in Bilbao.
This latest affiliation is part of Technal’s commitment to creating strategic partnerships that reflect its passion for architecture, design, creativity and innovation.
The first UK application of Technal’s new MX BG beaded curtain walling system has been completed.
Designed by architects EPT Partnership and located in the Rhymney Valley in South Wales, the project is the striking new headquarters for Williams Medical Supplies, one of the largest suppliers of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals in the UK.
The first UK application of the new structurally glazed curtain walling system from architectural aluminium specialists, Technal, has won two awards for design.
The façade project for the University of Sunderland, which transformed a former 1960s campus building into a bright and dramatic gateway to the university, was awarded the Special Prize for Cladding and Roofing and was also voted the overall winner at the inaugural UK Aluminium in Renovation Awards. The winning projects will now be entered for the European Aluminium Renovation Awards to be announced in Paris in November.
