Course Content

This course covers the key aspects of fire safety, particularly how it applies to windows, doors, and curtain walling. 

1. Building Safety Legislation

2. Basics of Fire and its Propogation

  • How fire spreads and how fire-resistant glazing helps limit this

4. Safe Cleaning Practices

  • Detailed examination of cleaning-specific safety requirements
  • Discussion of window configurations and compliance challenges

5. Falling Windows

  • Identifying the risks and regulatory guidelines for secure installations
